beautiful Moana Surfrider. As the sun sets into the sea, enjoy soothing sounds of a steel guitar trio accompanied by the exotic Hawaiian hula dancers who complement the sounds of the gentle surf. We will enjoy a pre-dinner drink (included) before proceeding to our dinner location. Day Five // 18th November 2014 (B, D) Today you will have a choice of activities. The first option is to visit the Waikiele Factory Outlets, which is located 15 miles west of Honolulu. Here you can save fortunes at over 50 designer and specialty stores. Brand names include A|X Armani Exchange, Adidas, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, Coach, LeSportsac, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren, Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, Tommy Bahama, Tommy Hilfiger, True Religion and more. This is a great option if you like a bargain and are looking to complete some Christmas shopping! The second option is a visit to Hanauma Bay. Staring out at the circular-shaped shore of Hanauma Bay on the southeast tip of East Honolulu, you can imagine how this beautiful cove was once a volcanic crater. Today, this crater, likely flooded by wave erosion, is home to an important nature preserve and the island’s most popular snorkelling destination. We will briefly stop and view Hanauma Bay on our day three sightseeing tour, however

this second visit gives you the opportunity to spend half a day snorkelling and exploring the marine life of the Nature Reserve. Your preference must be advised prior to finalising your balance payment. Please note that the Jayes Travel representative will accompany the majority of the group and these activities will not be necessarily private/exclusive for JTW. This evening we will come back together as one group for a farewell dinner to Waikiki. Day Six // 19th November 2014 (B, D) After breakfast we farewell Waikiki and will be transferred to the airport for our flight to the Big Island. Hawaii’s Big Island isn’t just big, it’s still growing. The Island of Hawaii is the youngest island in the Hawaiian chain and is also by far the biggest, providing a vast canvas of environments in which to discover a variety of unrivalled natural wonders. This is the home of one of the world’s most active volcanoes (Kilauea), the tallest sea mountain in the world at more than 10,000 metres (Maunakea), the most massive mountain in the world (Maunaloa) and the largest park in the state (Hawaii Volcanoes National Park). All but two of the world’s climate zones generate everything from lush rain forests to volcanic deserts, snowcapped mountaintops to beautiful black sand beaches.

Today after breakfast we dive right into exploring the unique Big Island. We will get to experience the scenic beauty and volcanic excitement of Hawaii as we travel through lush tropical rain forests & the famous Volcanoes National Park. Our tour starts with a scenic drive along the southern coast of Hawaii, taking us along the Kona coast to view Kealakekua Bay and visit a Kona coffee plantation. Here we can to sample this flavourful brew before we continue to travel around the southern tip of Hawaii to Volcanoes National Park. In the park we will see the steam bluffs, marvel at Kilauea Iki Crater & walk through Thurston Lava Tube. But this tour isn’t our only experience of the one of the world’s most active volcanoes! We will then take to the air for a helicopter tour - a perfect finish to the ultimate Big Island adventure. From one of the best vantage points you’ll see the areas of activity including any lava ocean entry points and Puu Oo, the volcanic vent that has been the focus of most current activity since 1983. Evening is at leisure.

DID YOU KNOW... The hula was originally a form of worship performed by highly trained men who were supposedly taught the dance by the Hawaiian god Luka.
