Harry Potter Era

The very first Harry Potter novel made its appearance on the shelves in 1997. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone flipped the reading world upside down. All ages read these books from start to finish. Art, movies, plays, theme parks, fan fiction, museums, and more all stemmed from this era. To this day, people still create content about the vast cast of characters introduced throughout the series. For many, this era will never end as it has made its mark throughout the world and will forever be their reading sanctuary.

Mythology, cabin personality tests, and Camp Half-Blood t-shirts were all the rage starting in 2005. This epic series about Greek mythology took over the middle-age reading world by a storm with the chosen one trope, witty characters, and epic adventures to last you a lifetime. The popularity of this series still sustains till this day. There were two movies made about it, a broadway show, and many new sister series’ were born from Percy Jackson’s popularity. This series created millions of online communities and a safe place for many to express their love for Percy and the rest of the gang.
