rague is a blissful place to be in the summer. Most restaurants throw open their terraces and outdoor seating, Old Town Square and the Charles Bridge bustle with life into the small hours. The Czech capital at the same time fairly brims with shopping opportunities. A Boucheron jewellery boutique has just opened in downtown Prague. Or you can pop into the new ChrisBer’Y boutique for fresh inspiration for a cocktail dress or evening gown. Jewellery taking the form of luxury bijouterie is, meanwhile, presented by Jewelry Platform, which like ChrisBer’Y is just a stone’s throw from Pařížská boulevard – the Czech mecca of luxury. Once there, wend your way towards the pre-autumn collections of Prada, Fendi, Gucci, Dior and other illustrious brands. Pařížská redounds with nearly all the hot fashion designers you can think of, while jewellery and watch enthusiasts won't go wrong here either. Speaking of the latest wonders of horology, there were once again alluring presentations at Baselworld – delve into your Luxury Guide and the inspiration will be at your fingertips. Regardless of how much time you spend in the Czech metropolis this summer, we are convinced you will fall under its spell, just like most of those fortunate enough to have visited the Bohemian city before you. Prague is a delightful place to live... I wish you a pleasant summer read.
