Design Studio 8 // Landmark Renovation

Professor Philip Lee, Spring 2017 Additional Details: The site is located in St. Louis, Missouri. The project is to renovate an existing 100,000 square foot, 6 stories cold storage landmark building to house a museum of recycling. The light shaft inside the building is not only to bring in natural light but also to remind the public the importance of using renewable energy. Computer Programs: Rhino, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator

gram for the last 8 years. The city, however, didn’t promote this new way of recycling to the public. Therefore, the project is a museum to educate the public why they should recycle food waste or why they should recycle anything. Experment

Design Studio 7 // Emergent Scapes

Professor William Mac Donald, Fall 2016 This studio focus on interpreting and generating emergent qualitative spatial/time fields mapping relationships between various cultural realms (education, domestic, work, leisure, tourism, etc.) It allows us mutually benefit the processes of design of the elementary school and its relationships to the particular and participant cultures in that same environment. The school will be interpreted as a field of operations and processes which will be invested into the spatial/time/form/matrix of urbanity. Computer Programs: Rhino, Maya, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator

Design Studio 6 // Modular Architecture

Professor Ahu Aydogan Akseli, Spring 2016 This project is to explore the possibilities of modular architecture, which allows us to achieve fast construction without giving up the beauty of the architecture. We also be able to complete a full set of construction documents and realize the challenges for architects are not only drawings on the paper but much more. Computer Programs: Rhino, Lumion, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator

Design Studio 5 // Pavilion & New Skin

Professor Ivan Rosa, Fall 2015 This intervention project is to redesign then replace the existing facade and entrance of Aaron Davis Hall. The Theater has been a mysterious entrance for students, parents and public. My partner , Gerson Prieto, and I wanted to extend the flying space from the inside to the outside so that the entire facade will become the stage of the theater. Design Studio 4 // House On The Slop

Professor Frank Melendez , Spring 2015 Spaces should interact with each other so that they can be formed in a whole. When other spaces are ignored, one room can not formed harmony since harmony requires all spaces combine together in a whole with order. Therefore using the system of ratio is one of the ways that pull spaces together and allow them to interact with each other. When two geometries overlap together, the voids will be create within the system and interact with other voids. Those voids will eventually become communal and individual areas for the entire family. Even though three generations are located at different area of the house, they are still united by the system of ratio. Computer Programs: Rhino, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator

Design Studio 2 // Donald Judd Foundation

Professor Suzan Wines, Spring 2014 Additional Details: The idea is based on the linear pattern that used on 4th floor. The pattern brings the interior space to the exterior. Those small hills were made based on the shaped of the furnitures as they look like combined with the linear pattern then being brought to the exterior.

Design Studio 2 // Box In a Valise - My Memory Box

Professor Suzan Wines, Spring 2014 The wooden sticks symbolize my memories. They are in different length as it symbolizes how long the memory is. The lower part represents my subconscious, and the upper part symbolizes my consciousness. I used longer sticks for my subconscious as human brain usually stores more memories in our subconscious. On the other part, I used shorter stick for the upper part of my model since consciousness usually stores short-term memory.

2017 //Plant-based Dynamic Filtration Systems

Additional Details: Create a building-integrated phytoremediation system using biomech-nical techniques to scrub toxins from the air by integrating modules containing hydroponic- supported plant materials into HVAC systems. My responsibility is to use AutoDesk Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to analyze air flow through our system, and work with the design team to determine the form of the case.
