Biography of Jaser Zaabri
Jaser Zaabri is an American Jordanian entrepreneur and business executive known for building and scaling businesses across construction, disaster restoration, recruiting, real estate, and hospitality investment. He is the Founder & CEO of Evolve Holdings (Investment & Operating Group), a privately held organization that operates and invests across several sectors.
Raised in the United States, Jaser grew up in a family deeply involved in business in the Gulf region. His father, Munir Zaabri, along with other relatives, worked with firms involved in engineering, construction, oilfield services, and trading across the UAE and nearby countries. This early exposure helped him understand the structure of international business and shaped his interest in entrepreneurship.
The Zaabri family’s business history dates back to the early 1970s. During that time, family members were involved in founding or managing companies such as Universal Trading Group, Target Engineering & Construction Company, and Al Ahlia Group.
Education and Skill Development
Jaser Zaabri completed his undergraduate studies at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He earned a bachelor’s degree with a double major in marketing and management. His studies focused on sales strategy,
leadership, and operational planning, all of which later became key components of his business approach.
Jay also advanced his education at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. There, he further developed his understanding of leadership, strategy, and organizational growth. This combination of education and early exposure provided a strong base for his career.
At the beginning of his professional journey, Jaser worked in international business development and advisory roles. In 2010, he participated in transactions involving members of the Qatari royal family. This experience gave him practical exposure to high-level negotiations and cross-border business activities.
Building a Career in Construction and Restoration
In the early 2010s, Zaabri began building companies within the construction and restoration sector. Between 2011 and 2018, he founded several insurance restoration and general contracting businesses under the Anderson Construction name. At the same time, he held executive positions within the Anderson Family of Companies.
These businesses provided disaster recovery and property restoration services across the United States. They focused on rebuilding properties damaged by fires, floods, and other major events. Through this work, Jaser gained experience in scaling operations, managing teams, and creating systems to handle high project volumes.
Expanding into Consumer and Product-Based Businesses
Alongside his work in construction, Jay Zaabri gained experience in consumer products and brand development. From 2012 to 2016, he served as VP of Sales and Marketing at XS Energy Drinks. In this role, he helped expand the brand into 38 countries and managed annual sales of nearly $150 million. His work included developing distributor networks, overseeing logistics, and supporting sales teams.
He also became involved with MyPillow Inc. as an executive and board member, contributing to business growth efforts. In another venture, he co-founded GarbageMan, an environmentally focused initiative that later developed into a waste management business acquired by a larger company. These experiences broadened his business perspective.
