Armenta Pet Academy will be collecting dog food, collars, leashes, beds, toys, blankets, and donations for Muttly Crew, Inc., a wonderful rescue organization we support. Drop off donations to ALA during the month of June. Starting Monday, June 3rd, ALA will be collecting money or donations for the Marine Mammal Center throughout June. Any donations can be dropped off at ALA. Items such as paper towels, postage stamps, Dawn dish soap and blankets are all needed and appreciated ALA Summer Programs run from June 10th to August 30th. The last Day of School for many is Thursday, June 6th, 2019. Summer School for those students begins Monday, June 10th, 2019. Refer a friend or write a Success Story for ALA and receive a free one hour tutoring session with Mrs. Armenta! Dana Point Family Movie Fridays will be held at Lantern Park every Friday in June! Thursday, June 6th we will be hosting an Awards Ceremony honoring the Students of the School Year at ALA and having our end of the year pizza party. Bring goodies to share! Thursday, June 14th is National Flag Day, ALA will be making flags to celebrate and have a bubble gum blowing contest for fun! Most creative and amazing American Flag wins a prize. Father’s Day is Sunday, June 16th, 2019. On Wednesday, June 12th, ALA will host a Father’s Day celebration and activities. We are making personalized mugs for Dad! Our annual Armenta Fishing Club fishing trip with Mr. Smith will be Friday, June 14th. Graduate of the month Catelyn Jo McLeester Catelyn has been working with Mrs. Armenta for years. ALA is so proud to announce and honor her on this wonderful accomplishment. So proud of our beautiful graduate. Summer Enrichment Classes Art and Painting, Jewelry Making, Water and Science Explorations, Nature and Gardening and more. Academic Classes offered for the back to school preparation and can advance up to 2 grade levels.
