In appreciation of our soldiers during this patriotic month, ALA will be collecting letters written to the troops thanking them for their service to our country. We will also be collecting supplies and non-perishable snacks for care packages to send. Independence Day is Wednesday, July 4th, 2018. We will host a guest speaker to talk about this special day in our nation’s history on Monday, July 2nd, 2018 at ALA. We will be hosting a birthday party for all of our July birthdays on Wednesday, July 11th, 2018 at Armenta Learning Academy. During the month of July, we will be collecting used or new bathing suits for all ages boys and girls for low income families for Summer Swim Program at Armenta. ALA is having a bubblegum guessing contest! We have a jar of bubblegum balls at Armenta Learning Academy. The student who guesses the closest to the number in the jar will win a prize! On Tuesday, July 24th, 2018, Armenta Water Olympics will be hosted. Students will compete for medals! Brianna Bodo Brianna is a star 4th grader. She is an amazing gymnast and trains 5 hours a day! She loves her family and the outdoors, as well. She has advanced in Math, Reading Composition, Reading and Spelling. Congratulations, Brianna!
