My Yearbook

Page 1

Not The Bon Jovi song, my existence is the reason I am here writing in this yearbook today. Looking back, I have had a lot of great times. Great times with my friends, great times with my family, and even great times alone. I have gone and seen so many things throughout my life. Some of these things are things that others might never do, or have never done before. There may be those moments that I do not enjoy, however I think that my friends and family helped me pull through those moments. There are some things I would definitely change about myself, but I still appreciate being alive and I appreciate my life.

“A good reader, very over the top.” -Josh Muyal “ Plays too many video games.” -Michael Petrov

I would like to personally thank everyone who helped make this yearbook possible. Mainly myself since I did most of the work. But overall the people in my life that gave it meaning. This year, the theme was favourite things in life. My favourite things are video games and Comics, so that is why I have something referencing them on each page and the title. Each page has a unique twist to it with some sense of humor to it, (depending on if you get the joke) and my own messages and pictures from my year at grade 10. I hope you all enjoy looking through this book as you take a stroll down my memory lane.

Starting since I was three Years old, I have been Playing video games. During this past school Year, many great video Games have come out and I have been looking to play And beat them all. This Year in the video game Community has been a Fantastic one, and I am Excited to see the future Releases this year.

Starting in 2012, my friend Michael and I have been going to superhero Movies opening night. Such movies include: The Avengers, The Amazing Spiderman, The Dark Knight Rises, Thor: The Dark World, Iron Man 3, The Wolverine and the list will continue this year with the Superhero movies released to theatres. This was my first ever tradition and I hope Michael and I keep this tradition going for a long time!

I have a few friends that I hang out with. Some closer than others but I know I can trust all of them. My closest friend is Michael. We have almost everything in common and have been friends since grade 3, we see movies together and we hang out almost all the time. Michael is a great friend - most of the time. For that reason, I had to put him in this yearbook.

7

Another one of my good friends is Josh. Josh has been one of my best friends through high school and we have done a lot together. Gone to concerts, met famous people and more. It was a wonderful time and Josh is one of the funniest people I know!

Starting in 2011, I have been doing covers for many songs already released. Last year, my classmates found this. I then became a star. I released an album and am on the verge of releasing a second one. I have performed live twice, and I have done a lot of covers on YouTube since then. This was a huge accomplishment for me and I hope to continue for a while.

Iron Man 2 is a superhero movie. That’s why its here

This was a REALLY good movie, however because of the montaged action, it had to stay low on the list

I liked Man of Steel. It was my favourite Superman movie. However, it wasn’t as good as it could be.

Batman Begins was really good! One of the best movies I’ve seen. However, this is NOT a top 10 for movies. Game Grumps is one of my favourite YouTube channels

10

The Playstation 4 is a really good console. Probably the best of its generation. However, the one problem is that it does not hold close to me as the other things on the list does.

Pokemon is a series I hold close to me. I’ve been playing the games, watching the anime, collecting the cards, buying the toys etc for years. So yes, Pokemon is a big part of who I am.

Like I had shown on a previous page, my friends are close to me. They help me up when I’m down, hang out with me, do things for me, and are all around good friends.

Family Guy is probably my favourite show. I’ve watched for a long while, and I’ve gotten into it more ever since I started. This is a big one because it shaped my comedic side of who I am today. So for these reasons, Family Guy deserves the #2 spot

This may seem like a copout, But my family is probably the most special thing to me. They’re the people who helped shape me into the person I am today the most. They shaped me, they guided me. They did everything I needed to become who I am today. This may seem like a boring snoozefest, but I could not overlook this and I HAD to put them at number 1. Thanks to all of you.

After school, I do my homework and eat dinner. After dinner, that’s when I have my fun. That’s when I watch TV, play video games go on my computer (YouTube, twitter etc.) and do other things. The video games I play are mostly games for my Wii U and PS3, but I also play 3DS. On YouTube, I mainly watch gaming-related videos. If you haven’t noticed, I’m a gamer. I LOVE video games and other stuff like that in geek culture. So, after school, I do those type of things.

13

Alternatively, if I’m not playing video games, I’m hanging with my friends. I have said numerous times I do a lot with my friends, and after school is when I hang with them most. I go to movies, play video games (okay, I still play video games) and other things with them. Sometimes I’m just on Skype with them. Either way, I have something to do after school to keep me busy whether I’m with friends or on my own and I’m content.

14

Well, this is it. The end of the book. To cap this book off, I’d like to thank my friends for having a good time with them. I’d also like to thank my family for being there whenever I needed them, video games for being there when I’m bored and most importantly. Thank you everyone who read this for reading through this yearbook. It means a lot.
