Throughout the entire home buying process, I will counsel and guide you or refer you to the experts best suited to deal with specific complexities when buying a home in the West Michigan area.

Lender Selection

Jaqua Realtors has partnered with Summit Home Mortgage to offer the personal service and local expertise combined with multiple loan programs and competitive rates. Arranging for a “pre-approval” will give you the confidence your home-buying dream can be a reality and gives you financial credibility when submitting an offer.

Title Services

For title and closing services, Jaqua has selected Chicago Title as our partner in establishing Southwest Michigan Title Agency. Chicago Title, the nation’s largest title insurance company, brought a rich 150 year history and over 7,000 offices nationally, including a location in every county in Michigan. This affiliation assures our clients this critical aspect of the home buying transaction is in expert hands.

Insurance

Jaqua has also chosen to partner with the well-established Nulty Insurance Company, a family-owned, independent insurance agency, to form Arcadia Insurance Services. Nulty Insurance has provided excellent service throughout its 60-year history. Arcadia Insurance Services’ products include home, auto, rental properties, personal items of value, boats, recreational vehicles, as well as personal umbrella liability policies. Our partnership with Arcadia Insurance Services assures our clients receive the most comprehensive coverage provided by experts in the insurance field.

Service Coordination

Once you have made a purchase decision, I work closely with you on the details of the home buying transaction. Most home buyers elect to have a home inspection covering the structure and mechanical components, plus an inspection for wood-destroying insects. In some situations, home buyers elect to have additional inspections for environmental considerations or a detailed analysis of specific components. I can refer you to well-qualified professionals and will coordinate such inspections. In addition, many home buyers get excited about the aesthetic changes they plan to make to the home. Through positive experiences, I am familiar with painters, contractors and home improvement specialists and will help coordinate these matters on your behalf.

Closing Procedures

I will coordinate the pre-closing “walkthrough,” arrange to get the closing figures to you for your review, and schedule a convenient time to finalize the home buying transaction. If you wish, I can even represent you at the home closing to save you time or make things more convenient.
