Press Release For Immediate Release Americana Play Hits Home (Chicago, IL) April 16, 2014: The world-renowned Steppenwolf theatre will be performing Mona Mansour’s The Way West, recipient of the Edgerton New Play Award.

The show will run from Sunday April 20th through Sunday June 8th. Showtimes are Thursday through Sunday nights at 8:00PM with additional Sunday matinees at 3:00PM. A modern tale, The Way West explores the frontier spirit and its lingering effects on today’s dysfunctional American family. The show features the talented Ira Amyx, Caroline Neff, Deirdre O’Connell, Zoe Perry, and Gabriel Ruiz, all under the direction of Tony nominated Steppenwolf ensemble member Amy Morton.

The show runs approximately two hours, including intermission. Covered parking is available for $10. Tickets go on sale today and range from $25-$55.
