CROCUS ISIS This well painted Crocus Isis is 93/4 inches high and on the base has the early Bizarre backstamp and the word “Isis”. New collectors please note: you could easily get confused between your Isis’s and Lotus’s as the names were changed during the early years of Bizarre ware. To simplify matters we have always referred to nonhandled pots as Isis, and single and double handled pots as Lotus.

363 363 Clarice Cliff - Casamia - A Conical sugar sifter circa 1932 handpainted with a stylised floral spray and garland in orange, brown and yellow, combined FANTASQUE and Bizarre mark with Lawleys gold back stamp, height 14cm, restored to the tip. ILLUSTRATED. £120 - £150 CASAMIA CONICAL SIFTER A rare conical sifter, probably late ‘30’s when designs were simplified. It is a tableware pattern number 5455 or 5955 and was one of many patterns sold at Lawley’s of Regent Street, London, a prolific stockist of Clarice Cliff wares.
