663* A 4” inch scale model of a Burrell agricultural traction engine, built by Mr R.H. Trew & Son of Chipping Sodbury to the “Model Works” design, the Cope Engineering Ltd. steel boiler with expanded tubes, the fittings including water sight gauge, safety valves pressure gauge, blower, injector, whistle, clack and other valves, the engine with single cylinder of approx. 3” bore by 4 1/2” stroke, fitted cylinder drain cocks with copper pipework, ratchet mechanical lubricator, eccentric driven feed pump and by-pass, two road speeds, and diff., the engine is on rubbermounted wheels, winding drum (no cable fitted), copper topped chimney, brass hub caps The engine does appear to be complete, but will need a full boiler inspection and test before putting into use. Paperwork and old test certs. from “Cope Engineering (Sales) Ltd.” show the boiler complies with all health and safety requirements. Firing irons etc. and a box of spares included. (-) £8000-10000
