Itlay.The younger Altria was apprenticed to his father 1825-1832 thereafter working in Aberdeen as an optician and glassblower to the 1860s. He married Mary Kinloch in 1835 and had a large family. Judging from this conservatively styled example this instrument could be an early example of his work perhaps c. 1832/35. £200 - £300
