1997 A George IV brass inlaid mahogany drop case wall clock, 30cm painted dial with Roman numerals, inscribed Shepperley and Pearce, Nottingham, single winding hole, eight day fusee movement, 60cm high overall, c.1835

This clock dates from between 1830 and 1844, the period of the partnership of Anthony Shepperley (watch and clockmaker, cutler and lace machine inventor, working at Long Row, Nottingham from 1813) and William Pearce (son of George Pearce, watch and clockmaker, jeweller and silversmith since 1791; of 24, Pelham Street, made a burgess of Nottingham 1716/1830).The partnership had premises in Pelham Street, but was dissolved in 1844 (possibly with the death or retirement of Shepperley, whose son, George continued the business at Long Row until 1864.) 2003 An early 19th century French Boulle cartouche shaped bracket clock, the 22cm circular brass dial set with shield shaped enamelled bosses, Roman numerals within an outer Arabic band of minutes, twin winding holes, eight day movement striking on a bell, the case with figural finial, seated wearing a head-dress holding a fanciful bird, the front and sides inlaid with bands of flowering leaves, the glass door applied with a figure allegorical of spring, shaped apron, leafy feet, the bracket cast with masks to angles and a leafy bid undertier, 116cm high, c.1830 £1,000 - £2,000

George Corrall, watchmaker, silversmith and jeweller, Leeming St. Mansfield, Nottinghamshire was the son of William and Mary Corrall of Lutterworth, where he was baptised in 1816. He was apprenticed as a watchmaker 1831 and set up in business in 1844 in Market Place Mansfield, marrying Elizabeth Warner in 1847. He was working until 1877 when he either died or retired. £100 - £150

2004 An early 20th century French clock garniture bronzed spelter and green onyx figural clock garniture, with figures cast after Louis Moreau and Rousseau, 9cm circular enamelled dial with Roman numerals, the stepped case with sinuous leafy brackets, with a tall figure allegorical of maritime science, 60cm high, c.1910 £70 - £100

2002 Aeronautical - a novelty mantel timepiece, formed from an aeroplane propeller, 14.5cm circular painted dial, with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, single winding hole, eight day movement, the propeller boss marked A. I.D. 94 4218 A.I.D. 124 NO.104, 29cm wide £80 - £120
