This bull has been posting excellent weight gains while on feed this winter, and he is my top gaining bull to date. 8A also posted the second highest weaning weight this fall at 785 lb on September 26. He is thick and smooth made. His dam, 4T, is one of my best producing cows. She has had 2 other bulls and I have used both in my herd as herd bulls. I am currently using her 2012 son in my herd and her 2009 son worked in my herd for 3 years before going to work at Pratt Ranches in Alberta. 8A’s sire, 55Y, is a bull I purchased from Cudlobe Angus for his correctness, excellent feet and strong muscle expression. His calves tend to be a bit heavier but they are very vigorous and grow well. I have been happy with how well he has worked.
NXS 9A is a clean moving, smooth made bull with good muscle expression. The dam of this bull is a younger cow that is starting to come into her own; she is sound and correct. The sire of this bull, Wild fire, is an AI sire that posts good growth numbers along with strong maternal and calving ease numbers. He is admired for his excellent phenotype and structural correctness.
