First step is to load the recovery Gmail page and then one has to click on the “need help link” that is present under the login box. There will be a list of options but you will have to select the one that states- I have forgotten my password. Then the user has to submit his or her user name in the account box. After this you are supposed to submit the last password you remember in the box. If due to any reason you are not able to remember even that, one can either submit the email ID or phone number which is being registered. In the case of phone number, either the user will receive a call or an SMS will be delivered.
