“My scooter was developed with a lot features that, as a pro rider, I need. We started with the deck, making an extrusion that is very strong and durable and distributes the impact when you land. From there, we worked on a fork made from T-6 aluminum that is super light but really strong, and in my opinion, no other fork is comparable. The T-bars I chose are more like basic bars but I do a lot of scooter flip tricks and T-bars make them easier. And then the wheels. The hub is really thick, but what makes them great is the urethane— they’re fast from the day that you get them, and they stay fast! You hardly notice any decreasing change in speed over time.
“I designed my signature model for riders like me who are looking for a nice, sleek style, perfect for parks and bigger riders like myself. It’s sturdy, with hidden internal compression (HIC) that keeps the fork and headset nice and tight. Exactly the type of quality and durability today’s pro level rider is looking for. Other features I added include 3 degrees of backsweep on the bars—not too much and not too little, and a bar that’s not too wide and not too skinny. The colors were my choice, the grip tape was drawn by a close friend of mine, and the overall look is urban—a nice, new look for Razor.
It’s cool that we’ve been able to drive the development of Phase Two. Now any rider can have the same equipment that any one of us Pros would have. The fact that I could put my personal touches and style on a project that we are all so much involved in since the beginning has been awesome.”
