Európska sieť príslušných orgánov v architektúre – ENACA nemá právnu subjektivitu, jej rozhodnutia sú konsenzuálne a riadi sa kódexom, ktorý jej členovia schválili v roku 2014. Sídlo je v inštitúcii predsedu (2007 – 2011 Kráľovský inštitút írskych architektov (RIAI), Dublin, od roku 2012 Slovenská komora architektov, Bratislava) a administratíva sa realizuje v inštitúcii koordinátora (2007 – 2014 Architektenkammer Hessen, Wiessbaden, od roku 2014 Architektenkammer Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart). ENACA pôsobí v dvoch základných rovinách. Rôznymi transpozíciami smerníc vzniká často rôzny výklad ich jednotlivých ustanovení. Napriek tomu patrí miera úspešnosti pri uznávaní kvalifikácií architektov podľa štatistík Európskej komisie medzi najvyššie v rámci slobodných povolaní – až 96% žiadostí o uznanie je úspešných. Spektrum situácií, ktoré sa riešia, siaha od individuálnych prípadov po workshopy a hľadanie konsenzuálneho výkladu znenia smernice na základe prípadových štúdií. Práve pri hľadaní týchto riešení je najsilnejšou stránkou ENACA skladba jej členov: výmena skúseností inštitúcií s veľkým počtom žiadostí o registráciu a rôznorodých situácií po malé komory, resp. právnikov a ná rodných koordinátorov s nadhľadom aj nad rámec profesie, od regulovanejších štátov po deregulované a pod..

The European Network of Architects Competent Authorities – ENACA has no legal personality, it takes only consensual decisions and acts conform to the code which has been adopted by its members in 2014. Its head office is always situated in the institution of its chairman (2007 – 2011 Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) in Dublin and from 2012 in the Slovak Chamber of Architects, Bratislava) and the administration is located in the institution of the coordinator (2007 – 2014 Architektenkammer Hessen in Wiesbaden and from 2014 in the Architektenkammer Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart). ENACA works on two basic areas. There are often different interpretations of specific directive provisions as the directives are transposed in every country in different ways. Nevertheless, according to the statistics of the European Union the qualification recognition success rate of architects is one of the highest among all liberal professions – 96% out of all recognition requests are accepted. The range of possible situations that ENACA deals with includes individual cases, workshops and searching for consensual directive interpretations based on case studies. Especially when it comes to searching for resolutions in these fields, the main strength of ENACA comes into play: the composition of its members. There is a continuous exchange of experience between smaller chambers of architects and institutions with a high number of registration requests and experiences in diverse situations, an experience exchanges between lawyers and national coordinators that can look beyond the borders of their profession as well as an exchange between the most regulated states and deregulated states.
