EING SINGLE TO BE MARRIED BLOG CORNER
Woman, Do You Know What You’re Carrying? Every year during Christmas, we have another opportunity to read, hear or watch the nativity story. We are reminded of how Angel Gabriel visited Mary to announce the conception of the Messiah by the Holy Spirit, an awesome gift that is that is a miracle. At times, I am also reminded of the story with this song by various artistes : Mary did you know That your baby boy Will calm the storm With His Hands.......... Reflecting back , I don't think Mary really knew the magnitude of what she was carrying, the strength of the promise, until she kissed her son's feet at the cross of Calvary, yet this promise brought hope, peace and restoration to so many people's lives.
It was when the angel spoke to Joseph instructing him to continue with his plans of marriage to Mary that a family was created; not just any family, but a family with a promise. Now let me bring it closer to home. Ladies, do you know what you're carrying? What promise that when birthed will continue the work that God started through His Son Jesus Christ? BSTM
