Mohamed Ahmed Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abronn shares insights on the growth of the company that was established in 2017 in Jafza with the primary aim of providing mobile healthcare solutions and medical equipment for hospitals and medical facilities.

How has Abronn’s market position changed over time as a leading supplier of innovative healthcare solutions, medical units and special vehicles? We started as a medical equipment trading company with a focus on emergency equipment. Post that, the company evolved and we started manufacturing mobile healthcare solutions like ambulances, emergency vehicles, medical units, rescue units and eventually mobile clinics and hospitals. Today, we also do all hospital equipment and field hospitals.

Considering the current worldwide healthcare crisis, how has it highlighted the significance of efficient distribution and supply of healthcare solutions? In this crisis, the world has realized the importance of emergency medical solutions in general and especially for mobile healthcare solutions. You must have access to a field hospital, a mobile hospital with fast implementation, which means within a few weeks you should be done with a complete field hospital to ensure that the patients will get good service and have access to distinctive healthcare solutions.

What strategies and technological advancements has Abronn adopted to overcome the market challenges? Our team of experts has embraced several technologies to speed up production. Additionally, we are also utilising the power of digital media to spread awareness about our mobile healthcare solutions in the region and all over the world.

How do you ensure quality products to your customers? We have received our ISO Certification 9001, ISO certificate 13485, which are related to manufacturing of medical items. We also have the ISO 14001 and 45001. Additionally, we are the only company in the region that currently has the “CE” certificate for products like mobile units, ambulances and emergency equipment.

increasing demand for medical equipment, ambulances and field hospitals? We have established close ties with several suppliers. Also, we are a distributor for many brands of well-reputed factories all over the world. Our stock is manufactured in our facility here. As you know, Dubai is considered as a hub for the Middle East and many places, so we are ensuring that we are prepared for any crisis that may happen by keeping our logistics ready, so it can be immediately dispatched once there is demand.

How did your facility in Jafza help to meet the rising demand? Currently, we have a 25,00 square meter facility in Jafza, which is the main free zone in the region and has the main port. As we operate in a very challenging sector such as Healthcare, I do see the significant added value of Jafza’s incentives such as tax-free, import and export which are facilitating our work operations.

What technologies have been installed in your Jafza facility to enhance production? We have used all modern technologies such as the fiberglass “GRB’’ that is used in ambulances. We are also utilizing the ABS molds and CNC machines to do all the interiors and the parts of our products accurately with proper finishing. We do manufacture all our metalwork in-house including steel, aluminium and fabrication of the boxes and accessories or the installation. Such technologies are maximizing our work efficiency and effectiveness.

How has being a part of Jafza added value to Abronn’s healthcare and pharmaceutical segment? In Jafza, we feel secure and supported with all the facilities they offer, including flexible administration work, easy import and export. There are many logistics companies that are also supporting us for storage and shipping purposes all over the world. Moreover, since Dubai is a hub for the Middle East, Africa and Asia mainly, being in Jafza has helped us a lot to supply these regions efficiently with all high-quality products.
