They have multiple mottos like; UNICEF works for a world in which every child has a fair chance in life, and every child counts.

Although UNICEF is a very praised and respected organization there have been some very questionable actions of theirs along the way. The first was the controversy that they were one of the reasons why international adoption rates have been declining. Because UNICEF has worked to enforce many strict rules they've made it incredibly tough for people to adopt internationally. Another common controversy surrounds their holiday cards. People were speculating that 100% of the funds were going to certain chapters internationally when 25% of the money is promised to help those in need. As well as Hallmark collects a large chunk of the money.
