THE FORM FIGURE SYSTEM There is no better place to look for winners than amongst past winners. A small majority of horses win the vast majority of races. It is a fact that some horses never win a race at all. If a horse has won more than once in the past it is more than likely that it will again. Some horses only win once and these are best ignored, along with the losers. This system is based on winners that have lost their last race. If a horse shows any of the following results for Its last four races it qualifies for a bet 111 lost, 112 lost, 211 lost, 121 lost, 131 lost, 311 lost and 221 lost, should be backed for Its next two races. The choice of stake depends on the price the horse is and the surprising thing is that these are often very good, so the each way bet has to be thought about especially as it could prove good value betting for most of the time. This system can be used for flat and national hunt racing. If there is more than one selection a race, it is as well to look out for reasons why they lost last time out. There may be obvious ones such as unsuitable going, inadequate distance, stepping up in class and one of them could therefore be a really good bet when the conditions are right.
