This zine is the product of an applied ethics project for the GWU Graduate Publishing Program, the purpose being "Making the Place Better" to which I chose advocacy regarding fighting publishing censorship. This zine is a graduate project focusing on ethics. Zines are a different kind of publication, where anything can be written, photographed, or created without anxiety that it will not get published due to the nature of the content itself. What this project is going to accomplish is that any art can be created, without the worry of censorship to block it from being seen, read, enjoyed by others. This project is simply a means to write what we know, not what we're told, and spread awareness that censorship is the brick wall that keeps raw and original content from the hands of readers in commercial publishing. Let's do what we do best, create without barriers. Let's make the place better for other writers, and let's create for the sake of creating.
