eparting from the country music concerts traditional to THE PLAYERS, this year’s event will feature a pop/EDM artist—Grammy-Winning duo The Chainsmokers—to perform at the Military Appreciation Ceremony on Tuesday, March 10 at TPC Sawgrass. The Chainsmokers have always had a strong connection to the military. Back in 2017, the duo surprised nearly 500 soldiers at a training camp in South Carolina over the holidays. Now, they are selected to play their multi-platinum hits on the world-famous 17th hole stage to honor members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. D

The stadium will be filled with excited fans, as one of the top music groups in the world will be playing alongside the best golfers in the world, all while generating impact for those who stand to protect and defend our freedom.

The Chainsmokers have performed at the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Good Morning America, and are now launching their world tour beginning in September of this year. This Grammy-award winning duo has developed some of the biggest breakthrough songs over the last few years including “Roses,” “Don’t Let Me Down,” and “Closer,” which became the longest-running number-one single of 2016 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. u -Sam Lyster
