raffic. Nobody likes it, but it’s an unavoidable nuisance that comes with major spectator events like THE PLAYERS. Tournament management and the local police are well aware of the traffic snarls and actively work to alleviate some of the driver strain by offering a variety of options for getting to and from TPC Sawgrass, including a new, dedicated turning lane into the general parking lot off of CR 210 that will bring spectators directly to the tournament’s main entry, the Nicklaus Entry. T

Also new in 2020, parking passes are now required every single day of tournament week, Tuesday through Sunday. Tuesday & Wednesday parking costs $15 per day and Thursday- Sunday costs $40 per day. Parking is expected to sell out, so fans are urged to purchase their daily passes online in advance at THEPLAYERS.com/parking. As in years past, THE PLAYERS will continue to offer fans free parking passes if they carpool with four or more people. These passes are limited and must be reserved online.

Ride Share The tourney features a designated staging area for rideshare vehicles, located near the Couples Entrance off of ATP Boulevard. Uber, the preferred ride sharing partner of THE PLAYERS, will drop off and pick up at the Couples Entry off of ATP Boulevard, which is just steps from the 15th hole. Rideshare vehicles will be staged outside the Couples Entry making this one of the easiest modes of transportation for spectators. Did you know? From 2018 to 2019 alone, THE PLAYERS saw a 63% increase in the number of Uber rides to and from the tournament.

Pedal Power Complimentary bike parking is available beginning at 7:30 AM each day. Spectators can ride their bikes to Gate B located inside the Sawgrass gates off of PGA TOUR Boulevard in the back of lot 5. Bike racks are available free of charge.

Downtown Shuttles Shuttle buses will run to and from TPC Sawgrass to several Downtown Jax hotels including the Omni Jacksonville, Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront and the Lexington Hotel. The service is offered to hotel guests and local residents. Passes are $20 and available online.

Golf Cart Parking Free golf cart spaces are offered Tuesday through Sunday at Gate B located inside the TPC Sawgrass Gates and in the back of lot 5.
