In this episode of Let’s Talk Jackson, Donna Ladd spoke with Dr. Judy Alsobrooks Meredith, a former TV and radio news reporter and anchor and local journalism professor at Jackson State University. Dr. Meredith is also the wife of Mr. James Meredith, the first African American to attend the University of Mississippi and a long-time leader in the battle for equal rights for African Americans. She’s recently completed a documentary about her husband, called “Who is James Meredith?” She discussed the film, her husband, and her own life and career with Let’s Talk Jackson.
