TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: WHEREAS, Michael S. James, Mississippi Department of Correcti\lns No. N9407, was sentenced on or about April 16, 2001, for the crime of PossessIon of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), in Newton County, Mississippi und~r Cause No. 01CROll-NWC; and sentenced to serve (4) years in the custody of Mi~sissippi Department of Corrections and enter the RID program; and WHEREAS, Michael S. James completed RID on November 16, 2001 resentenced to (4) years probation on November 19,2001; and

WHEREAS, on February 8, 2005, Michael S. James was granted ~ early discharge for successful completion of probation; and NOW, THEREFORE, I, Haley Barbour, Governor of the State of Mi~sissippi, under and by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and Law~ of this State, do hereby grant to Michael S. James a full, complete, and unconditional p~don for the crime and conviction named herein; and henceforth, shall be absolved from !alllegal consequences of this crime and conviction.
