Cy served four years of active duty in the U.S. military and is pursuing a bachelors in business at Belhaven University.

Clay and Ann Elizabeth Fowler Purcell live in Madison with their son Clayton. Ann Elizabeth is a nurse practitioner at Mississippi Oncology Associates at St. Dominic Hospital. She received her masters in nursing from Delta State. Clay is vice-president and branch manager at Merchants and Planters Bank in Raymond, MS.
Devin Darnall received his masters in accounting in the fall of 2008 from Ole Miss. Since graduation he has been an auditor for Buckeye Technologies Inc., traveling to Brazil, Germany,Canada, and across the USA each year. Devin continues to train for and run in track meets in his spare time. He lives in downtown Memphis.

Her first book as editor came out in September 2011, Casserole Queens, and was on the New York Times Best Seller’s list for over six weeks.
