news of alumni 2010-2011 Marc Sanders lives in Madison with his wife of ten years, Suzanne, and his threeyear-old daughter, Suzanne. Marc works for ADT in commercial sales (cameras, access control systems.) He has recently joined the Army Reserves and is not sure of his deployment schedule. Lindley and Wes Slay, and son Wyatt, welcomed a daughter, Abigial Rose, on November 8, 2010. Wes promotes professional fighters. BJ Flores is his top fighter,currently #4 in the world. They live in Tyler, TX. Walker and Claire Dossett Wright live in Oxford, where Claire is the manager of Amy Head Cosmetics.

class of 1997 Brad Bryan married Mary Brooke Pennington on January 9, 2010. Brad graduated from MC with a B.S. in biology. He received his degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from UMMC. Dr. Bryan is with Kool Smiles as a Mississippi area doctor. Brian Emory studied sports marketing at Hinds and sports administration at the United States Sports Academy. He lives in Clinton with his wife, Heather. David and Leslie Layer Jordan live in Madison. Leslie works in human resources at G & K Services. She is a graduate of Florida State University.

Amy and Barton Lampton’s son, Barton (JA’s PK program), wore his dad’s Homecoming shirt from 1988 on the football playoff day. We think it brought the team good luck!

Michael Mosley and Amy McCullough married in November 2010. They live in Jackson, where Amy is a staff writer for the Mississippi Business Journal. Sara Woodrell Papa graduated from the Mississippi University for Women in 2001 and received her law degree from the University of Mississippi in 2005. She and Chris live in Windsor Locks, CT. Taylor Polk has a bachelors and a masters in English from MSU and a law degree from Mississippi College. He works at the Heilman Law Group. Davis and Meg Powell live in Shreveport, where Davis is an oil and gas attorney. Brad Reeves is an attorney in Jackson with Balch and Bingham,LLC, a real estate broker and is the owner of Brent Drugs in Fondren. He was recently selected to the inaugural class of the Mississippi Bar’s Leadership Forum and recognized as one of the “Mississippi Business Journal’s Top 40” under 40. He married Mandy Armstrong on June 4, 2011. Mandy finished her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at UMMC and is working at Jackson Healthcare for Women. Fran Russell married Ben Havard on April 30, 2011. Fran earned her bachelors in health information management and then her nursing degree, both from UMMC. She is a registered nurse with Field Memorial Hospital in Centreville. Ben is associated with Rollins-Wells Pulpwood and Timber in Woodville. Betsy Smith married Jason Bailey on January 14, 2012. Betsy received her bachelors in human development and family studies from Samford University in 2001. She received her masters in social work from the University of Alabama in 2003. Betsy lives in Birmingham where she is a medical device representative with Boston Scientific Neuromodulation. Jason is an attorney with Watkins, Ludlam, Winter and Stennis P.A. Matthew Ward is with Sears in merchandising in Gulfport.

Lance Welch is a dentist and recently moved back to the Jackson area.

class of 1998 Maury and Lauren Breazeale have moved back to Jackson, where Maury has joined his dad in business, Kientz, Tipton & Breazeale, LLC. Lanny and Stacie Clark Mize live in Nashville. Stacie is a pharmacist. Kyle and Leslie Webb Cunningham live in Jackson with their two sons: Jack and Sam. Kyle is a medical illustrator at UMMC. Kevin Essary is the Director of Tennis for the City of Germantown. David and Wendy Williams Hanes live in Pensacola with their sons. Tune in to CBS on Sunday, February 12th. Paul Moak is a nominee for 54th Annual Grammy Award for “Leeland” which he produced. The JA family was saddened Friday, October 14, 2011, when Craig Noone died in a two-car crash in downtown Jackson. Craig had opened the Parlor Market Restaurant a year ago on W. Capitol Street. Logan Phillips was promoted to vice president at Morgan Keegan in May 2011. He is a financial adviser in the Jackson office and has been with the company for six years. He holds bachelors in business administration from the University of Mississippi. Anna Powers is an attorney and lives in Madison. Jennifer Cricenti Rheder and her husband live in the Seattle area, Bellevue, and both work for Microsoft. Jennifer is a project manager, and he is a sales manager. Daniel Scarbrough and his wife Shea have a four- year- old son and a two- year- old
