Discounted Workers Comp Insurance

In Texas, private employers can usually choose to carry workers’ compensation insurance coverage; however, Railroad Commission LP Gas Safety Rule §9.26 requires all LP Gas licensees (except Category P licensees) to carry workers’ compensation insurance.

Propane professionals in Texas may be able to take advantage of lower workers’ compensation premiums with one of our affinity partners. For over 15 years, TPGA has partnered with an insurance provider to offer discounted workers comp insurance through a major carrier for qualifying propane gas professionals in Texas.

As part of the program, group participants receive premium discounts.

Since 2005, the group has paid out $2.5 million in dividends. All policyholders have the opportunity to earn individual dividends, but as a member of this program, you may qualify for an additional group dividend if the group has favorable results. Safety group dividends are based on the group’s loss history rather than a company’s individual history.

Dividends are based on performance and not guaranteed.

Additionally, policyholders have access to more than 2,000 free safety resources, including 400 e-Learning online modules. These are designed to help keep workers safe, as well as provide safety consultations.
