Jack Cody, born on August 8, 1947, in Sterling, Colorado, was a cherished only child to his parents, Jerry and Ruth Cody. Raised in a nurturing environment filled with love for the outdoors, Jack developed a deep connection to nature's beauty early on. His childhood memories were rich with experiences such as enjoying his mother's homemade cinnamon knots and exploring scenic landscapes with his father, which forged a lifelong bond between them and profoundly influenced his passions

A commitment to learning marked Jack's educational journey After graduating from Northeastern Junior College in Sterling in 1967, he advanced his studies at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a focus on Special Education in 1969. His thirst for knowledge continued as he simultaneously taught and pursued a Master's Degree in Special Education, graduating in 1978.

In the mid-1970s, Jack's life took a romantic turn when he met his future wife, initially from Iran. The couple married in 1975 and briefly lived in Iran, where Jack taught English and indulged his passion for photography, documenting their adventures abroad Upon returning to Colorado, Jack resumed his teaching career, welcoming their first child, a daughter, in 1979.

However, by the early 1980s, Jack sought a new direction in his professional life Despite nearing completion of his doctorate in Special Education Administration, he felt compelled to pivot careers In 1983, he enrolled at the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, shifting his focus from education to chiropractic care. This decision led him to graduate in 1986, proudly among the oldest in his class, and subsequently, he opened his chiropractic practice in Greeley, Colorado

Photography remained a vital part of Jack's life His deep appreciation for the natural world was evident through his lens, and he had a particular affinity for capturing landscapes, wildlife, and the intricate details of light and shadow.
