Julius is a senior at Canton High School in Canton, Michigan, where he is a member of the Canton High School Varsity Basketball Team, and a member of the Key Club and Students Against Destructive Decisions. He is a member of the Ypsilanti Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., where he has served as Parliamentarian and Community Service Chair of the Teen Group. Julius believes in the spirit of community service and has volunteered more than 300 hours since the start of high school. Julius is owner of the Sport-It T-shirt line. Julius has received the Outstanding Leadership Award from Jack and Jill of America in 2015 and 2016 and received the Youth Service Recognition Award in 2014 and 2015. He also won first place in the 2016 Beloved Essay Contest and was a Finalist for the Urban League Do the Right Thing Award for Entrepreneurship. Julius enjoys basketball, creating sports documentaries, and traveling. Julius plans to attend college and pursue degrees in filmmaking and business with a concentration in sports marketing. He desires to create sports related documentaries and serve as an ambassador for sports around the world. Julius’ date for the evening is Debutante Camille King.
