Main Course Ideas - Different Ways To Prepare Beef Too busy at work and too tired to cook? Even if we are a whiz a cooking, cooking can be a hassle and a pain if you have a 12-hour job, kids and absolutely no time to prepare the ingredients for cooking. If only we were rich and hire our own cook to do the cooking for us. If only we have a wonderful spouse who can surprise us with great-tasting dishes once we get home from work. If only our kids know how to cook. But alas, the times are against us, and we often have to resort to processed and frozen meals or fast food and take outs. However, this can be a bane - it vacuums money out of our wallets, makes our bellies even wider and clogs our arteries to the brink of giving us a heart attack. So, if you apply the rules above you can take two pounds of ground beef and use the same recipe for both. However, you can make the one lot into chili con carne and the next into a Ground Beef Taco Recipe. But New York City folks love the taste of ketchup and top their wieners with a special sauce made from ketchup and cooked onions. Some home cooks make a quick sauce with cooked onions and commercial Marinara sauce. The Big Apple website has posted a sauce recipe on its website for "New York Hot Dog Onion Sauce," made with ketchup, onions, cinnamon, chili powder, and a dash of hot sauce. The slow cooking process allows for the use of cheaper cuts of meat. Normally some cooks try to avoid those sinewy, fattier, coarser cuts of meat but for the particular method of cooking used it is an advantage. Some easy chilli con carne recipe sets in with 8 x 3 when it comes to warm-ups. Don't include warmup sets in the 8 x 3! Take a few lighter attempts and then you stay with the same weight for all 24 reps. This is important: After washing cabbage thoroughly only use the large outside portions of the cabbage. Take the large open pedal of the cabbage leaf and fill with super spicy chili recipe mixture. Wrap as if making a burrito. Then lay tightly in a baking pan and continue until the pan is full of burrito looking cabbage rolls. Place in oven for 45min to an hour. To begin with you want to get some quality ribs from grass fed cows, which get to roam around and are not raised in crowded pens. The local farmer whom I get my humanely raised beef from sells short ribs for $4.00 per pound. As I have explained in other articles on cheap healthy meals, you don't need a big piece of meat. Other people enjoy the texture of the beans and do not think the bean flavor detracts from the sauce, so it is up to you whether or not to include beans or not. Maybe you could make a traditional Mexican chili con carne recipe without beans and then make one with beans, to see which you prefer.
