The Parson Bird
I’m drawn to the call of the parson bird telling us to unite, to bind, to come together as one. unite the spiritual and terrestrial realms unite the personal and interpersonal realms unite in the bods of humanity withing the spiritual and physcial dimensions
Unite all the strands originating from the birthplace of humankind from the distant and spiritual Hawaiki to the world of light and enlightenment
Let us all be united as one! Agreed!
Whakatauki
‘He waipuna koropupū
Ahakoa tukitukitia e te poaka
E kore e mimiti
Ka koropupū, ka koropupū’
The spring of life-sustaining waters
Despite the many challenges
It will not diminish
It will continue to flow forever
This whakataukī is a call for strength and resistance from us now and future generations. That despite the insurmountable odds, they must continue to strive for equitable outcomes for all.
