short story collection. He was an author who shaped the Golden Age of Science Fiction, a period which includes the year (1961) this penthouse on Las Vegas Boulevard is going to be restored to, with elements characteristic of the TWA Terminal, designed by Eero Saarinen.

INSPIRATION: TWA TERMINAL, BY EERO SAARINEN

INSPIRATION: PALACIO DO PLANALTO, BY OSCAR NIEMEYER

Stratosphere Heliport The legs have characteristics of the TWA terminal and the stretched triangles of Palacio do Planalto. They are integrating elements like the prongs or claws of a diamond ring and bring verticality, so the space relates to the streamline modern features of the high-rise, but still asserts itself as a dramatic accent. The overall swooping, uplifted form of catenary curves conveys motion and lightness.
