Records Office is located on the second floor of the George and Frances Ball Building at 125 S High St - Muncie, IN 47305.
Step 2: Attend Gradfest Events (Career/Transfer Fair)
All students are welcome to attend this networking and confirmation event Meet local employer partners, 4-year partners, and verify your diploma information After verification is complete you will receive honors, military, ASAP, and/or High School cords, if applicable. Gradfest events take place every March and October.
Watch for Co-Videos, TV slides, monthly Stall Street Journal, and text messages.
Check Status
If you are unable to attend Gradfest events you need to verify your diploma information with the Records Office. Veterans: Cords will be provided at the table located at the Muncie Fieldhouse on the day of commencement ceremony

High School Students: Cords will be provided at the table located at the Muncie Fieldhouse on the day of commencement ceremony.
Phi Theta Kappa members: College-approved PTK stoles are available for purchase at the campus bookstore or through the PTK national website at wwwptkorg Gold tassels are not approved and are not to be worn during the ceremony.
Step 4: The Commencement Ceremony
If you plan on attending the ceremony you must:
Apply to graduate by April 1
Ensures your name appears in the program book
Ensures name on diploma is how you desire
Ensures graduation regalia is delivered on time

Arrive for line-up at 10:00 a.m. in full regalia. Please note the mortar board (cap) is to be worn parallel to the ground with the tassel hanging from the front on the front-right.
Complete the provided name card. Please write your name legibly as you will present the card when you cross the stage.
Note: There will be items on your chair upon arrival, pick these up but remain standing
Line-up will take place by school (example: School of Business) A dean or faculty member will be there to assist and directions will be provided during lineup You will also receive an email with helpful tips a couple of weeks prior to the ceremony.
Be sure to leave all valuables, including purses, with friends and family We wish all students to only have stage name cards upon entry It is also a good idea to make arrangements to meet your family at a specific location after the ceremony. Please note, venue doors will open to family and friends approximately 40 minutes prior to the ceremony.
Disability seating on the floor is for guests with disabilities and one family member. Other family members are required to sit in bleachers.
Special Arrangements
Students who require special accommodations for the ceremony should contact the Ivy Tech Disability Support Services (DSS) by April 1st by calling 765-289-2291 ext. 1785.
Parking
Parking is free around the Muncie Fieldhouse Overflow parking will be in the Muncie Central High School parking lot. You can also park in the Ivy Tech blue and green lots located to the west of the Fisher Building. MITS buses will be available to shuttle those parked in the Ivy Tech lots to the Fieldhouse.
Photographs
Ivy Tech believes in the success of each graduate and how they should be recognized appropriately. Friends and family should refrain from leaving their seat during the ceremony to take pictures, as this blocks the view of audience members.
Ivy Tech will have a photographer on hand to take photos during the ceremony. You will be photographed receiving your diploma cover and as you exit the stage. If you would like to purchase photos you must purchase directly from the vendor (information will be provided).
When to expect your degree/certificate
Fall Graduates - No later than the end of March
Spring Graduates - No later than the end of July
Summer Graduates - No later than the end of October
Per College policy, a diploma will not be released if a balance remains on the student's account
