O
ur kayaks are modeled using vacuum bag lamination technology. Cloth and core materials are compressed under a film of vinyl ester. These kinds of techniques were first used by NASA in the aerospace industry and are used in the production of all our kayaks. Our composite kayaks are three times more elastic and stronger compared to polyester. The technology we use in our kayak production makes our kayaks lighter and much easier to repair.
Our kayaks are produced in fiberglass, carbon/Kevlar and carbon. Compared to polyethylene, these kayaks are stier and have very smooth final enhance glide. Our Carbon/Kevlar kayaks are built for high performance and combines extreme lightness of carbon with the elasticity of Kevlar. You can get our kayaks in full carbon which will increase the performance to the next level. The techniques we use make our kayaks more durable with supreme quality.

One of the first things you will notice on this kayak is its elegant lines. Expedition´s designs is made from modern Swedish form, the widest point of the kayak is in the back of the cockpit. This design makes paddling forward more comfortable and efficient because you can put the paddle more close to your body. Expedition kayak has a long waterline therefore it is fastt and stable. If you are paddling with wind and waves you feel surprised how easily you can handle the conditions with this kayak.

xped xpedition XP 507 is the mid-size version of the Expedition series. The kayak is best suitable for paddlers from 60 kg to 95 kg. It is very similar to the Expedition. The volume of the Expedition XP 507 is 50L (320 tion L) smaller tthan the original Expedition (370L). 2O is a very user friendly kayak, which is constructed to be very efficient. It has a Swedish form, which means it is wider behind the cockpit and has a long waterline.
This lets the kayak achieve a very high pace in relation to width and steadiness. Maximum speed to be measured even more then 9 knots. That makes it one of the fastest kayaks on the market in relation to steadiness. H2O also glides nicely through waves as it has a large bow. It has a long hull, which gives it less friction with water and is, therefore, easy to handle at a pace around 6 knots. The large cockpit of H2O gives it flexibility when it comes to applying different paddling techniques and also makes it easy to get in and out of the kayak. It is just as good for long weal trips as for short trips and training sessions.

port 600 is a very fast and efficient multisport kayak. Designed with a swedeform hull (largest volume behind the cockpit) and a long waterline it will deliver sparkling performance, combined with excellent control. A kayak for those resourceful paddlers who know eexactly how to deal with difficult situations, do it right aand with split second timing - a kayak for pure unafffected paddling joy and with no practical usefulness whatsoever w

Sea Pearl may be seen as a less extreme and less S demanding Black Pearl. It has a little more room for d kknees and feet than the real Black Pearls - you do not have to sit with straight legs under a low deck. It gives h yyou a second to react after a erratic paddle stroke, before turning you upside down. It reacts quickly to b maneuvering strokes, leaning and weight shifts but m not instantly as the Black Pearl. You do not have to be n a master of Greenland paddling and rolling to enjoy tthe Sea Pearl, but you will probably become one intentionally or not. in In short, the Sea Pearl is a Greenland kayak for those sstarting out on the Greenland path, but not quite rready for, or interested in, the real deal. But you can of course use the Sea Pearl as an ordinary B ssea kayak, if you do not care for Greenland. You may have to accept a little quicker maneuvering, that you h may come to enjoy waves a little more and even that m yyou may be tricked into learning a roll or two - but tthat is all... 959 Emanuelle Koreliussen on Greenland built a kayak – the now famous Illorsuit kayak – for an English visitor. Back in England this kayak inspired many well-known production kayaks, among them Anas Acuta and Nordkapp. Qanik is my take on this legendary kayak. Slightly longer and with a higher bow to suit better for modern paddlers, but with the graceful sheer and upturned stems of the Illorsuit. Illorsuit comes with remarkable maneuvering – a bow rudder and edging (relying on impressive end stability) turns the kayak in almost in the kayaks length!

With a high deck the Qanik will be comfortable on extended tours for those used to standard sea kayaks and it will carry your gear on weeklong tours. It is a safe and snug kayak with soft easy movement and a dry run in bad conditions. It accelerates quickly to catch surfs and is easily controlled on the wave. Despite the excellent maneuverability it goes where you point it when speeding up. May seem a contradiction, but it is possible to design a kayak that does both – try the Qanik. ayak paddling is one of the most growing outdoor activities in the world. With the popularity of kayaking grows the need for more safety. To prevent accidents, all SeaBird Designs composite material kayaks have a unique self-rescue system. Many different methods of self-rescue are popular, for example; Eskimo Rolling and paddle floats, however these methods don’t always work 100 percent.
PATONGS SET Kayak with patongs set is much more stable on water. In case you have capsized far from the shore it is easy to get back in the kayak and it will allow you to continue your journey or to paddle to a safe place. The patongs safety systems are very useful if a paddler has suddenly got into more difficult conditions such as gale, wind, rain, high waves, etc.
This is because these methods do not consideration why people capsize in the first place. If you capsize because of bad weather and with the help of a paddle float, manage yourself inside the kayak again, you will still have to paddle in the same conditions. The risk of capsizing again is big. Therefore, we recommend you to have a stabilizing help, like we have on our composite material kayak. This system also works as a stabilizer if you want to go fishing, take a photo, UV-hunting, swimming at the kayak, change your clothes, eat etc. It makes re-entry on water more. Our system is very easy to assemble even on water.
