This menu lists the items you'll need to save and open various icon
files.
Most of the items in this menu are self-explanatory or were explained
in previous sections.
The important new item is the Save As Default Icon. This item allows you to save the current image in the Magnified View Display Box. The Workbench then uses this display as the default icon when
you select Show All Files menu item. Type
You'll select the items in this menu to specify the type of icon you're designing. You can select from the following five items: Disk to represent the disk icons appearing in the Workbench window. Drawer to represent the drawer icons appearing in the disk window. Tool to represent a tool. This is the default type.
Project to represent an icon which was created by a tool. Garbage to represent the trashcan drawer.
HiLite
While using the Amiga, you've probably noticed that the appearance of different parts of an icon may change when the icon is selected. This menu contains three items that enable you to control the appearance of the selected icon.
Complement highlights the entire icon.
Backfill highlights the icon and not the background of the box. image creates a new or different appearance for the icon. For example,
the drawer icon does not change color when it is selected but a new image of an open drawer appears to show it's selected. Images
Exchange switches between images of the Normal mode and the
Selected mode.
If you select the normal view, Copy copies the image in the normal
view to the selected view.
