Intelligent tool and safety solutions iTOOLS has a mission. We want to ensure that trades and industrial businesses always have access to intelligent tools and safety solutions, that make their work easier, more efficient and, most of all, safer for the user. We seek to fulfil that mission every day, by providing solutions we have designed and produced ourselves, plus those we distribute for our like-minded partners, who also seek to provide intelligent, user-friendly and high-quality solutions. From one product, to over 3,000! We started with a floor hammer in 2004. Our objective was a product that would make it quick, easy and convenient to lay a wooden floor for a flooring contractor. The result was a product the flooring contractor could use to hammer floorboards into place while standing up.

Perform a scratch test and choose the right segments!

This simple scratch test will help determine floor hardness to be able to choose the correct segment for the job. Choosing the right segment extends segment life and sands more efficiently.

This simple test gives an excellent indication of whether the floor is hard or soft, or whether the surface is epoxy or hardened paint.

Hard or soft concrete (or the like)? The floor can be classed as hard if the cut is superficial, and if no material accumulates along it. • Use 105530 Medium Floor segments

How to perform a scratch test Use a steel ruler or the like, a robust knife and new utility blades. Place the ruler on the floor and cut along its edge using a new knife

Epoxy or paint? The surface is probably epoxy if flakes occur on the surface along the cut and the cut opens when you relieve the pressure. • Use 105530 Medium Floor segments The surface is probably old paint if there are no flakes along the cut and if you can cut the surface without resistance. • Use 105680 PCDsplit segments
