DAY ONE 11 – 12:00 pm Arrive at hotel, check in and enjoy a simmering cup of coffee during orientation. 12 – 1:30 pm Lunch at the hip Jazzy Fox Bistro. Enjoy fabulous regional cuisine in a relaxed and smoke-free environment. 1:30 – 3:00 pm Visit the Otter Tail County Historical Society Museum, recognized as one of the best local history museums in Minnesota. Stroll past the authentically recreated dioramas and period rooms then lose yourself in the creative hands-on activities. The museum is a unique cultural and educational resource. 3 – 5:00 pm Explore birding & wildlife on over 325 acres of native and
restored tall grass prairie and 28 wetlands found at the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center. 5 – 7:00 pm Retreat for a little cheer at The Mabel’s Pub located at Mabel Murphy’s. If the weather permits, relax and take in some sun on the scenic outdoor deck. Choose from a variety of fabulous food to satisfy your appetite! 7 – 9:00 pm Delight in “Songs from the Tall Grass” performed at A Center for the Arts, just one example of many fabulous touring performances. 9:00 pm Return to hotel. DAY TWO 8 – 9:00 am Breakfast at any of several restaurants to be arranged. 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Travel to Ottertail Lake and tour breathtaking Lake Country Gardens on the west end of Ottertail Lake. Tea and cookie break included.
12 – 5:00 pm Spend the afternoon on beautiful Lake Ottertail. Enjoy lunch and an afternoon of scenic beauty aboard the Ottertail Cruises touring boat. 5 – 7:00 pm Next, enjoy dinner at The Peak Supper Club near Urbank. Enjoy one of their specialty dishes, which include turtle, great ribs and buffets. View Inspiration Peak, the second highest elevation in Minnesota. 7:00 pm Your tummy is full and your journey is complete as you head for home. See the mesmerizing Manitou Rapids and Clementson Rapids, offering great photo opportunities.

12 – 12:30 pm Stop by Baudette’s mascot, Willie the Walleye, in Bayfront Park. What better way to commemorate your stay in the Walleye capital of the world than to have your picture taken in front of this gigantic 40-foot walleye? Be sure to keep an eye out for our state flower, the Lady Slipper, which flourishes near Baudette (May-June). 12:30 – 2:00 pm Roll into the Ranch House Restaurant where you can enjoy a full menu, including the celebrated walleye. 2 – 4:00 pm Dive back into nature with an educational tour of Norris Camp. Your group will learn how the Norris Camp was made into the well-formed wildlife management area
it is today. 4 – 5:00 pm Continue your journey to the famous Sportsman’s Lodge, located on beautiful Lake of the Woods.
