Summer Camp 2022

■ Camp will follow all current COVID and masks guidelines. ■ Payment Plans will be available and must be turned in by May 1st. ■ The Itasca Summer Day Camps follow the Itasca School District #10 Calendar. ■ Refunds or pro-rated fees will not be granted if a camper misses camp, no exceptions! ■ Camp Butterflies and Camp Adventure will go to the Itasca Waterpark M/W/F afternoons (unless pool is closed due to low attendance or inclement weather). ■ Camp Adventure goes on weekly field trips every Thursday. ■ Participants must provide their own laundry basket, towel, swim suit, lunch, snacks, drink, & water bottle each day unless otherwise specified. Campers should wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes every day. ■ Please wear sunscreen. We will apply sunscreen prior to leaving for the pool. If you wish to have staff help your child, please provide us with the spray sunscreen labeled with your child’ s name. ■ Extended hours are available for Camp Butterflies, Camp Adventure, and

Teen Travel Camp. ■ Day Camp Swim Lessons are available for Camp Butterflies and Camp Adventure.

Pre/Post Camp Punch Cards

■ Purchase punch cards in $85 (20 hours), $45 (10 hours), or $25 (5 hours) increments! ■ Punch cards are punched in half-hour increments. ■ Punch cards are non-refundable and can be purchased throughout summer.

Waterpark Concession Dollars

If you would like your child to be able to purchase concessions at the pool, you must purchase a concession card at the front desk for $30 or $10. This card will be given to the Camp Director and he/she will be responsible for monitoring what campers are purchasing and spending. Camp staff will not be responsible for lost or stolen money. Campers who do not have a concession card will not be permitted to go to the concession stand during pool time. All concession cards with balances will be returned for use during the rest of the pool season.

Camp Caterpillars

This camp is all about learning through fun! Campers will participate in games, singing, outdoor play, and arts and crafts. Counselors will offer different themes each week while focusing on ageappropriate learning skills that will benefit your little camper in the fall. Camp will follow all current COVID guidelines. Camp Butterflies

Watch as your child develops, grows, and emerges throughout this camp. Young campers will have a blast as they participate in interactive games and activities that will teach the importance of sharing, listening, and cooperation. Day Camp Swim Lessons

Learn how to swim and be safe in and around the water! Each child will be tested and placed in the appropriate level on the first day. Participants should bring a towel and arrive wearing their swimsuit, sunscreen, and a cover-up. New this year: Parents may drop children off at Camp, staff will take kids to lessons and back. CampAdventure

IPD is now allowing Online Registration for Camp Adventure, however you must fill out the Camp Adventure Form 2022 at www.itascaparkdistrict.com to select the days of attendance. You may email the form to ERubo@itascaparkdistrict.com or mail to Itasca Rec Center at 350 E Irving Park Road, Itasca IL 60143 while the facility is closed. Kids, don 't miss out on this camp that is jammed pack with exciting and adventurous activities! Campers will be kept busy each day with outdoor games, crafts, playground time, and sports, along with time spent in the gymnasium. Thursdays are field trip days in which they will venture off to an exciting place for the day. Because camp will be located mainly outdoors, kids will be active and busy each day. TeenTravel Camp

Teens, this camp is designed just for you! Travel to new and exciting locations with fun-filled activities including bowling, mini-golf, water parks, and much more! Fee includes a teen-only field trip every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Monday and Friday will be spent at the Itasca Water Park. Campers need to bring a lunch, drink, and bathing suit each day. This is the ultimate summer experience for teenagers. Camp will follow all current COVID guidelines. NEW! 2 and 3 day option - pick your days! Counselor in Training

The Counselor in Training (CIT) Program is for teens who want to learn to work with children and develop leadership skills. This program is perfect for any teen who wishes to be a counselor one day. CITs will work with either Camp Butterflies or Camp Adventure, under the supervision of the Camp Director and CIT Director. CITs will help set up and lead games, crafts, activities, help clean up, assist all counselors, and assist with supervision at pool time. Potential CITs must fill out an application and come in for an interview, just like a full day counselor. CITs will go through training before camp begins and will meet regularly throughout the summer. The CIT fee includes a t-shirt, field trips, entrance to the waterpark and trainings.
