Whether you are a USF student on the Tampa, St. Petersburg or Sarasota-Manatee campus, you are now part of a university in motion. USF attracts the courageous, the bold, the dreamers – those who believe that the future holds opportunities yet to be realized.

Our students contribute energy, curiosity and enthusiasm, and I encourage you to use your talents to tackle society’s toughest challenges and make a positive difference in the lives of those around you.

USF is composed of a fascinating fabric of individuals whose many perspectives and cultures broaden our horizons. USF offers a safe and welcoming community for all students, including those who are first in their families to attend college, those from a broad range of socioeconomic backgrounds and those with the resilience to overcome adversity.

You have once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to make a difference for your fellow students and our communities. There are a variety of ways to get involved, including great events such as the Stampede of Service, by serving in Student Government and on college committees, and of course, by cheering on the USF Bulls at athletic events. I hope you will be part of our many proud traditions!
