FRIDAY FAVORITES

La Roche Posay is one of the first skincare brands I started using after learning how to research the ingredients that work best for my skin type. It's a reliable, innovative brand that delivers on what it promises. Its SPF, Anthelios, has been my go-to for a few years before I switched to a fragrance-free one.

Korean skincare products have become the talk of the town in recent years and it's well deserved!

COSRX is one of the Korean skincare brands that just gets it right--consistently. I'm pretty experimental when it comes to skincare, which means I rarely go back to a certain product as there are so many left to try, but COSRX's Snail Muccin Essence is one that I could never get enough of.

I'm on my third bottle in the last 1.5 years and I plan on re-purchasing it once I reach the last drop.

Simple, effective, clean, and affordable -- The Ordinary in a nutshell (for me, at least). I could say you could never go wrong with a TO serum, but that's not exactly true. It's always crucial to research everything that goes into the products you choose, especially if these will come into contact with your body in any shape or form. The Ordinary's product range is wide and impressive, and their formulas are gentle on even the most afflicted skin.

Another Korean skincare brand I could never get sick of. Not only is the whole line aesthetically-pleasing and would elevate the look of any skincare drawer/shelf, but a lot of the products in the range also come at a price tag that won’t break the bank. The brand uses herbal ingredients that have been used since the Joseon Dynasty. How cool is that?!

Caudalie is a French skincare brand known for luxurious, clean skincare formulations. I don't buy it that often due to the spicy price tag... but when I do, there's no way I'm not going to praise it. Their product line is developed with grape extracts from the vines at the winery belonging to Caudalie founder's parents. The brand is also cruelty-free and aims to limit their use of plastics and environmental impact of their production processes. Need I say more?
