1- Overall Aim of the Course: To enable students to:    

Be familiar with normal structure of the eye Give basic health care and preventive measures to limit endemic diseases affecting the eye. Recognize common causes of visual loss and their management. Recognize emergency ophthalmic cases and how to deal with.
