CAMPING-ALBANIAN DISCOVERY IN PURE NATURE BEACH-SIDE OR MOUNTAIN-AIR, that’s the question, when the own tent, caravan or motor-home or is your choice of accommodation while on vacation. Albania’s campgrounds are located in the heights of the Thethi National Park, at the Adriatic and Ionian coast or at Ohrid lake close to the city of Pogradec. Although increasing in numbers every year the core of Albanian campsites (38) is to be found in the new Map and brochure “Camping and outdoor Tourism in Albania”. CAMPING AND OUTDOOR TOURISM MAP was conducted in collaboration with the National Tourism Agency and other stakeholders operating in the private sector of camping, with the support of the “Development of Sustainable Tourism in Rural Areas of Albania” Project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Geselleschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in Albania.
