WINGED WONDER
If you look up into the canopy of cypress trees lining Isleworth, you may notice a striking, brown-and-white-striped bird known as the barred owl. Nocturnal in nature, they tend to roost quietly during the day but tend to be more active at night, hunting rodents and reptiles. Even if you cannot spot them, you can certainly hear their distinctive "hoot" in the evening hours.
