Review the mouth area. Draw anything you left out when you sketched the profile line. Finish the lips and the smile lines that need to be extended.
Color the sketch. Figure out a coloring process for yourself and color in the same manner every time. For example, I always color the skin tone from top to bottom, left to right. Leave the highlight areas white or very light. After I finish the hair, I add details such as eye color or a subtle shadow under the chin.
Add the neck line, collar and anything else that you may have missed.
Plan Your Page Be sure to leave enough room on your paper for the entire head. Don’t center the eyebrow on the page or you’re likely to run out of space for everything else.
