The team Isis Photography was born from the vision of Richard and Christa Galloway, who are trained in portraiture and photojournalism respectively. Engage in a unique photographic experience
Aside from providing you with beautiful, emotional portraits in a casual setting, engagement sessions allow us to get to know each other before the big day. Knowing what to expect from your photographer and feeling relaxed in front of the camera are critical for photographic success on the big day. Pre-wedding or engagement sessions are the time for you and your other half to get used to having your photograph taken in a relaxing and enjoyable environment. You are welcome to choose a location that speaks to you in a personal way, or let us recommend a few of our favourite local areas. We love to get our couples in front of the lens and bring out what makes you special! Pre-wedding sessions typically last one to two hours and include two outfit changes, but we are happy to accomodate additional requests. t Fresh for spring For outdoor shoots, dressing for the season not only helps you feel comfortable for the lens, but also adds a sense of unity with the surroundings. The patterns of the field of daisies accentuate Melanie’s polka dot frock. Blue jeans paired with simple patterns are always a hit on camera. The light denim button-up Melanie is wearing is a nice contrast to Leslie’s blazer. If you and your man are trying to match, don’t try too hard! Pick colors that accent each other without being too “loud”.
p Colour for fall For a fall shoot choose colours that will stand out from, and accentuate the orange and gold hues of a Canadian autumn. A strong colour accent like the red scarf Jenna is wearing adds an extra pop of colour.

Your wedding may only last a day but your archival album will last a lifetime and more. When DVDs have gone the way of zip drives and floppy disks, your album will still be an heirloom you will be proud to show your family and friends. Our goal for your wedding album is to tell the story of the day. The album combines great photography, simple timeless design, and a print and binding quality that will last for generations. We will design your album for you and present you with a preview about six weeks after your wedding. The Saga album Our durable Saga albums come in a variety of sizes and a choice of a leather or custom photo cover to match your style and taste. The thick pages are flushmounted using a technique designed to eliminate the gutter between pages so the design on each spread is uninterupted. What is a spread? A spread is two pages as you would see them with the album open. Each spread will have an average of two images, so a 25 spread album will have about 50 images. Your wedding is over, you’ve opened your gifts, now it’s time to say “thanks!” You can say thank you in style with our custom designed photo thank you cards, or, for something really unique, you can give each of your guests a DVD of your wedding slideshow. planning your day The key to getting the most enjoyment out of your wedding day is to have a timeline worked out in advance.

Decisions, decisions... When you are planning your wedding there are a lot of choices to make that affect your wedding photography. Do you have your asked-for photographs taken before or after the ceremony? Are you having speeches during dinner? At Isis, we are happy to consult with you about your timeline. We have a questionnaire we have developed over years of experience in shooting weddings which we send our couples a few months before the big day. In the meantime, this sample timeline will show you a typical wedding with 8 hours of wedding coverage.
