Field Measurements We measured the width of the sidewalk, space occupied by street vendors. The location of the street vendors are mapped relative to the stationary street elements such as traffic lights, bollards, and bike stands.

Analysis of Regulation Permit I accessed data from the City of Oakland website. I also procured updated documents from city staff via email. I analyzed the permit application for food vending, the Flex Streets program, and SB-964, a California state senate bill regulating sidewalk vending with the lens of accessibility by street vendors.
