With estimated volume of over $2 billion in 2015, we are in our sixth year of strong trading activity with a diverse cross-section of private and public buyers purchasing assets coast to coast. Transaction volume has been positively impacted by the rise in deals over $10 million, which more than doubled from YTD Q3 2014 to $1.2 billion by way of 34 transactions. Average deal size rose 86 per cent to $16.9 million with the average number of keys per sale growing almost 35 per cent to 144 rooms, indicative of the larger assets trading this year. Pricing metrics on a per-door basis continue to trend positively rising to $108,800, a 48 per cent growth from YTD Q3 2014. When removing strategic deals, average price per room still demonstrated notable growth of 8 per cent reaching $79,400.

STAYING AGILE IS CRITICAL. FORTUNATELY, OPENING MORE THAN 1,100 NEW* HOTELS HAS KEPT US IN SHAPE. In the past six years, Hilton Worldwide has opened more than 1,100 new hotels around the world, bringing us to more than 4,000 hotels in 90 countries today.* In Canada, we have 104 hotels open from coast to coast with a growing pipeline of over 40 signed projects. Impressive growth, made possible by our ability to adapt to the world’s increasingly complex business environments. As a result, we’ve developed a wealth of experience creating and operating the most award-winning portfolio of hotels in the industry. Not a bad workout for a 95-year-old.
